【Market Commentary】In view of PCIe G5’s compatibility with both Intel Sapphire Rapids and AMD Genoa platforms, NAND suppliers are eager to dominate the market with their own SSD solutions. PCIe G5 enterprise SSDs will be available by 2Q22 from Samsung, Kioxia, and SK Hynix.
In particular, TrendForce expects an increasing number of NAND suppliers to allocate more resources to develop their enterprise SSD product lines in order to grow their shipment for hyperscalers in the future.
